There's something funny going on in Washington, D.C., and this group is going to prove it. Feeding off the latest corporate scandals and Washington high jinks, Capitol Steps is billed as the only group in America funnier than Congress. The updated show is an invitation to a political party, as the cast from both sides of the political aisle presents sketches and parody songs based on current events. The touring satirical troupe is made up of former and current Congressional staffers who skewer Democrats and Republicans with equal fervor. The Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people that employed them. Now the Washington insiders stab gleefully with their verbal swords, mixing skits and songs in their fast-paced revue.
