One of the veteran old men of the stand-up circuit is a local South Florida favorite. The comedian's caustic wit has caused him to have a long career playing crotchety characters. The standup started on TV in the late ‘70s with "What's Happening," "Good Times" and "WKRP in Cincinnati." More recently he has appeared on such TV shows as "The Late Show With David Letterman," "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and "The Wayans Bros. Show." His films include "Little Nicky," "Boomerang," "The Ladies Man," "The Jazz Singer," "Hollywood Shuffle" and "Friday" and its many sequels. The Detroit native has collaborated with the Wayans brothers on a number of television projects as well as the film "Little Man."
