"Politics Not as Usual: Quilts with Something to Say" through Jan. 20. Organized by the American Folk Art Museum in New York City, this collection highlights two centuries of women who wouldn't take "no" for an answer; women who used quilting as a venue to cast their votes, comment on the political landscape, and participate in national life. The collection demonstrates quilts as one of the most eloquent and consistent reflections of American life from the colonial period to the present. Also: "Big Art: Miniature Golf" through Oct. 7. "Glass Act: The Contemporary Art Glass Movement Turns 50" through Oct. 14
