Guitar god Satriani is known for his “Strange Beautiful Music,” out-of-sight fret work and outer-space allusions. Satriani’s virtuoso playing has placed him in the realm of guitar royalty. In a 20-year career, the “Super Colossal” Satriani has played with Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Greg Kihn, Mick Jagger, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper and Spinal Tap. The guitar wizard is known for such releases as “Not of This Earth,” “Surfing With the Alien,” “Flying in a Blue Dream” and the recent “Unstoppable Momentum.” Original Dixie Dregs guitarist Morse is known for his otherworldly, elegant sound. The Dregs were tops in instrumental Southern jazz-rock fusion. They developed a following during the late ‘70s with their musical chops, band chemistry and melodic compositions.
