Edith Ann is all grown up and has done it all -- television, film, Broadway, even animation. In this evening of classic Tomlin comedy, audiences will see why she has won six Emmys, two Tonys, a Grammy and two Peabodys. The humorist may be best known for her successful, oft-revived and well-traveled one-woman Broadway show, “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe,” her recurring role on NBC’s “The West Wing” and her start on the classic “Laugh-In” television series in the early ‘70s. Her films range from serious (“Nashville,” “Short Cuts”) to silly (“All of Me,” “The Beverly Hillbillies”). Tomlin takes on myriad of eccentric characters and such topics as love, childhood, the media and pop culture in her stand-up shows.
