Four beautiful voices; unbelievable four-part harmony. The veteran vocal ensemble performs a potpourri “Pastiche” of musical genres, with the songs set to their hallmark harmonies. The Transfer started in NYC clubs more than 35 years ago, building a cult following and breaking through with their 1975 self-titled debut. Hugely popular in Europe, Stateside they were the first group to win pop and jazz Grammys simultaneously. Setting the standard for vocal music, the ensemble has conquered the intricacies of jazz, R&B, doo-wop, Brazilian, rock and swing. They've earned eight Grammys and reigned supreme as "Best Vocal Group" for an entire decade (1980-1990) in the annual “Down Beat” and “Playboy” jazz polls. Their acclaimed albums include “Mecca for Moderns,” “Vocalese,” “Swing” and “Couldn't Be Hotter.”
